Senior Project Manager
In this vital senior role, you will oversee a broad range of capital, maintenance and refurbishment projects.
There has never been a more exciting time to join the Estates and Asset Management team at St Mary’s University. Our recent construction of a world-class sports hall was just the first of a host of ambitious changes. Together with a 10 year Master Plan for the site, we will implement significant refurbishment and energy management projects. You will be instrumental in our success.
We will look to you to oversee a variety of projects across our two campuses. With initiatives varying widely in their complexity and value, this is a role that will call on every aspect of your estates project management experience to date, while giving you scope to hone new skills and achievements. You will manage a small team of Project Managers and will control associated budgets for the projects.
To join us, you’ll need a degree level qualification in a building surveying or project management subject. We expect you to have membership of a recognised professional body such as RICS or CIOB.
Committed to quality and safety, you will bring to the team a proven track record in an estates project management post with a construction consultancy, working on education sector projects. Used to managing projects across a multi-site estate, your working knowledge spans building technology, construction principles, building contracts and their administration. Crucially, you have experience in the development, implementation and management of both planned and cyclical maintenance and improvement programmes, as well as space and moves management. It is your excellent communication and influencing skills, both in person and in writing that really set you apart.
